Sony Releases 3.73 Update For PSP

PSP 3.73 update

Just a heads up here. If you check out the Japanese PSP site, you’ll see that Sony has released the official PSP FW 3.73.

Anyway, words out that HellDashX, the dude who’s a freaking genious, has rolled out a new build for his custom firmware otherwise known as HX. We hear that there aren’t many changes.

… But for reasons which cannot be shared, he will keep it under wraps for now.

Anyway, some members in our community tell us Sony improved the stability of UMD driving with this update because of the unexpected freeze which has been reported on the former version during UMD loading on PSP title. (Could it have been someone from our community who notified them? Hmmm)

    HX is just the Dark-Alex 3.71 M33-3 release with a few hex values changed.

    Also if you translate the page with the update notes, this is actually a pretty large update to the firmware of the PSP. Because this firmware is supposed to install the Sony online store for purchasing original PSX games to play on the psp.

    i just baught a psp-2001 and when i try to access the web it pops and shuts off also i have an internal error (000001) when i scan for a connection so i think i am going to send this 1 in i already returned 1 to wal mart for the same problems
