If you were on our site last week, you’d remember I put a download for the Vista PSP portal. The response was huge.
I can’t believe how many people loved it!
But there was a very small problem.
You see, there were so many members of our community go their, we literally blew up the link! (Well done guys! Am I supposed to say that?)
Anyway, I’ve received lots of emails from people wanting to know if there were others like it. So I thought I’d give you a link to one which I had on my PSP a few months back.
It’s called PspWxp. And it stands for PlayStation Portable Windows XP (based off of winpsportal).
Now this portal allows you to use Windows XP on your Playstation Portable. (Well, really it is just a set of Webpages that look similar to Windows XP, but they are offline.)
It has some useful features lots of games and applications. You do not need to access the Internet for most of pspWxp, only to access the links and use the Web browser.
As it is only 1.5 Megabytes in size, it will fit on any memory card. pspWxp will not harm your PSP. Version 1.02 does not show previous app/game on starting a new app/game, fixed music menu button, five card stud poker slightly changed and bug fixes.

dude, i have this prob.. you see.. i already download the thing.. and i did all the work and it said that press x to log in.. so i did but nothing worked (for just in case.. if this is the problem.. my version is 3.71).. when i scroll down.. it was like all smashed up and at the bottom i saw some options like auto-hide taskbar and sort of things.. but plzz help me! send me an e-mail for this.. This is REALLY Great!
HOW TO INSTALL THIS FOR DUMMY’S
1. Download it
2. Open the map
3. Connect ur psp to the PC
4. now look where your psp is in ( L: etc.)
5. Click on install.exe
6. click the port where your psp is in
7. install it
8. go to your internetbrowser ( ON PSP )
9. click on the adress thing
10. Fill in: file:/pspWxp/index.htm
11. (optional) click triangle and make this your homepage
12. (required) Make fun.
