It freaks me out every now and again when I find out who is in our community. You see, there’s some real hardcore PSP dudes. Now, normally, I’m not one for dropping names and stuff, but I have to drop a name.
You see, people ask me all the time why I put this blog up. And you know what?
I did this for myself realy. You see, I’m a regular dude with a bad memory. So this site was supposed to be a place where I keep stuff. Like a personal collection of the best psp stuff I find. So I don’t forget where I got them from. (My friends call me a girl and say it’s like my “diary” or something. Well… SCREW THEM!!! :))
Anyway, my personal “boomark” site is turning just a little bit bigger than what I would have like. I didn’t mean it to be like that. And that’s why I freak out.
You see, I got an email from POop yesterday.
Now if you don’t know who he is, let me tell you. POoP came up with the “green machine” theme you probably put on your PSP. (The one in the last post.)
And this dude is like awesome.
Anyway, he has put out another theme which you got to get.
Looks awesome doesn’t it. And it’s easy to put on your psp.
And you can download it here.

Vincent, it’s hard to help whenever I don’t know what firmware you’re on. >_>
It’s made for custom firmware 3.51 and 3.52M33 firmwares. You cannot use this theme on official firmware.

Not to be rude or anything, but if you don’t know what firmware you’re on than I doubt you’re running custom firmware. But to answer your question to find what firmware you’re on in the XMB go all the way to the left to settings and then down to system settings and then system information. You should have a firmware between 1.50 to 3.73.

If you’re on a fat PSP you must downgrade to 1.50 first, and then install custom firmware.
To downgrade firmwares 1.52-2.00 use the MPH downgrader, to downgrade firmwares 2.01-2.80 use the HEN-D downgrader, to downgrade 2.81-3.03 use the GTA Exploit downgrader, to downgrade 3.10-3.50 use the Lumines exploit downgrader, you CANNOT downgrade firmwares 3.51-3.73.
If you’re on a Slim PSP you must use a Pandora’s Battery in order to flash the custom .prx files to install custom firmware, this can ONLY be done on firmware 3.60 for the Slim.
You can downgrade ALL firmwares for the fat PSP with a Pandora’s Battery.

Find someone with Pandora’s Battery to downgrade your PSP for you. In the meantime you’re stuck with PTF themes.

Pandora’s Battery is a downgrader.
To install custom firmware you must be at firmware 1.50.

YAY! the latest official firmware from sony! Now I for sure won’t be able to play NES,SNES, N64, ISOs, GBA, GB, GBC, Sega, have custom themes(real themes), play ISOs over USB/WiFi, be able to control TVs, and so much more with this update! Yay!
