Anyway, I’m guessing for fans in the US, this will be a godsend. Condering that there’s no plans for it being released any time soon. Now, there is something you should know. And that is that this will be taken offline on November 21 or something. You see, the reason is because the psp game is being released in Europe on that date. So I guess they are letting people sort of trial it and see if they like it.

So this is a really “cute” clip. And I’m guessing you think it’s like a cartoon or something.
Now, s you may know, this video looks a hell of a lot like Astonisha 2. And you know what? You are exactly right. You see, Garnet Chronicle is a new RPG from Ironnos in Korea. So what they’ve done is change the name of the psp game to try and confuse us.
Now, the funny thing about it is that this game is also known as Astonishia Story 2: Fate to Unhorse One in Korea. (If you are confused what the psp game is called, then don’t worry. I understand how you feel.)
Anyway, you may be wondering what this is like and if we get to see it in the US. Well, if you played the first installment of Astonisha, then you probably know the psp game features an anime inspired art style and a tactical, 2D combat system. Sort of thing you wanna play if you like that sort of thing.
Now, as for the game coming out in the US. Well. We haven’t got news yet. You see, the psp game has just come out in Asia, so we may have to wait for a little while yet.
Now this VERY cool. You may have heard of this really awesome psp community member of ours AKA modder known as F00 f00. You see, just this week, he’s done this incredible mod. Probably one of the best. And there’s a good reason why.
As you probably know, most people outside of our community think us psp gamers are just a bunch of time wasters or something. No gooders I was once called by my neighbor. (I guess I should have given him the Greg Focker “Karatee Chop” to the mouth! But lucky for him, my little sis and her “Cabbage Patch” playing friends held me back.)
Anyway, this psp mod created by F00 f00 is for a girl who has a limited use in one hand. You see, the psp controller is a litle difficult for her to use. So a friend asked F00 f00 for some help. So he does some kind of “voodoo” on the psp and adds a SNES controller.
… Awesome I know!
Anyway, if you’re thinking of doing the same thing to your psp, then here’s what he says;
This mod was achieved by adding a small socket to the back of the psp ( the socket was sent to me by a friend some time ago so I dont have a part number. I believe it was intended for a cell phone). I taped all of the relevant points on the psp mother board (some of which where horribly close together and tiny. Actually not some ALL of them where), and then ran these to the socket.
I used a file and dremal to cut a whole in the back of the psp and the socket fitted in with a satisfying *click*. I then put together a custom cable and plug that would fit the newly attached socket. This was then wired to the snes controllers pcb (attached directly to the traces of each button. And thats about it.

As you probably know, Sony have bee working on the PSP media for the psp. Anyway, if you want this psp download, then you can find it here.

Anyway, what the Media Manager does is help you organize and sync your music, photos and other digital content to your PSP. I guess it’s trying to be Itunes or something. Now, you might also know that the new function to this is that it grants you access to the Playstation store through your PC.
Although, the dude at the Playstation blog does a better job of explaining it.

I guess the only thing they should do now is make a download version available for our Mac users. I’m wondering when they will do that.

Ok. So you probably think this is some new shaky breaky game or something. And if you have a PSP 3000, you may think this is just normal. Well, it’s not really.
You see, there have been a number of psp gamers who are experiencing this. And I think the problem has got back to Sony.
So what are they doing about it? Well, as you know, Sony are a huge company with some really good people there. However, nothing has been said about what is going on. Could they be taking it off the market to fix this as some other sites are mentioning? Maybe. But if you have a PSP 3000 which has this issue, then you probably know now that it’s not what it should look like.
Therefore, if you have this issue, you may want to take it back to the place you purchased it from and get yourself a new one. You see, the psp is the best gaming system in the world. So we should expect the very best.

BREAKING NEWS - Dark Alex has just released Custom Fw 5.00 M33-3 for the PSP. Now if you want to download it for your psp, I’d probably do it right about now. You see, Dark Alex is the man. Again. And again. And again.
Anyway, this is upgraded from 3.90 M33-3 without any kind of hickup.
Seriously. I don’t know if we should name our pets after him, or send him cash or something. All I do know is that Dark Alex ROCKS! He absolutely rocks the PSP.
Anyway, here’s what he says about PSP Custom Firmware 5.00 M33-3 on his site;
A quick fix for the big bug introduced in M33-2…
Changes:
- A bug was introduced in 5.00 M33-2 that made some games and homebrew not to work.
- PSN version check is now automatically bypassed without need of touching any setting.
Nearly seven years after Nintendo introduced the Advance link cable to connect its GameCube and Game Boy systems, Sony followed up with a solution of its own. The PSP Plus is designed to connect specific PSP games to the Playstation 3. You may know this, but the first psp games to roll out this will be the awesome Resistance franchise. (This game is going to seriously rock!)
As you may know, the psp games is scheduled to launch in the spring of next year. Resistance: Retribution will be the first game PS3 players get to enjoy. Anyway, if you are wondering if it is going to be difficult to do this, then let me explain the process. When the title releases, gamers that own Resistance: Retribution and Resistance 2 will be able to transfer the action via a USB cable.
That’s right folks. USB cable! How simple is that!
Anyway, once it’s ported to the PS3, exclusive content and game modes will be unlocked for a different experience. The campaign mode will allow you to play with a wireless Dualshock controller and complete the missions on your very own TV. According to Sony, the connection remains active until turning off your PSP.
I’m hoping this is going to be awesome for us.

Wow. Dark_Alex is an absolute genius. Just hours after Sony releases psp firmware 5.0, our man, comes in and hit’s it with a ton of bricks!
Anyway, here’s what the great man says about it;
This is psardumper to extract 5.00.
Modules of psp3000 cannot be extracted and decrypted yet, due to keys being in 3000 ipl (kernel keys) and mesg_led03g.prx (filenames table keys).
Due to that, you will see various “warnings”, just ignore that.
So what does that mean?
Well, it means that some PSP-3000 modules cannot be decrypted yet; not even their names. The keys for the file names table are in “mesg_led03.prx” of the PSP-3000; which again, cannot be accessed yet. Due to that you’ll see various warnings when putting PSARDumper into action, i.e.) “could not find path of XXX.”
The other change in PSARDumper: no more buffer limitation. It is now loaded dynamically from the memory stick.
