As you probably know, Sony have bee working on the PSP media for the psp. Anyway, if you want this psp download, then you can find it here.
Did I mention it’s free. (Poor dudes who paid for the earlier version! They should refund their money or something)
Anyway, what the Media Manager does is help you organize and sync your music, photos and other digital content to your PSP. I guess it’s trying to be Itunes or something. Now, you might also know that the new function to this is that it grants you access to the Playstation store through your PC.
Although, the dude at the Playstation blog does a better job of explaining it.
Have a look here. (Although don’t look at that “wig” too closely. It may damage your eyes!)
I guess the only thing they should do now is make a download version available for our Mac users. I’m wondering when they will do that.
Anyway, for more psp downloads and stuff, I know you’ll want to bookmark our site.
Ok. So you probably think this is some new shaky breaky game or something. And if you have a PSP 3000, you may think this is just normal. Well, it’s not really.
You see, there have been a number of psp gamers who are experiencing this. And I think the problem has got back to Sony.
So what are they doing about it? Well, as you know, Sony are a huge company with some really good people there. However, nothing has been said about what is going on. Could they be taking it off the market to fix this as some other sites are mentioning? Maybe. But if you have a PSP 3000 which has this issue, then you probably know now that it’s not what it should look like.
Therefore, if you have this issue, you may want to take it back to the place you purchased it from and get yourself a new one. You see, the psp is the best gaming system in the world. So we should expect the very best.
Check this video to see if you have a scanline issue.
Anyway, if you need more information on the psp 3000, and psp downloads and stuff, you’ll find it right here.
BREAKING NEWS - Dark Alex has just released Custom Fw 5.00 M33-3 for the PSP. Now if you want to download it for your psp, I’d probably do it right about now. You see, Dark Alex is the man. Again. And again. And again.
Anyway, this is upgraded from 3.90 M33-3 without any kind of hickup.
Seriously. I don’t know if we should name our pets after him, or send him cash or something. All I do know is that Dark Alex ROCKS! He absolutely rocks the PSP.
Anyway, here’s what he says about PSP Custom Firmware 5.00 M33-3 on his site;
A quick fix for the big bug introduced in M33-2…
Changes:
- A bug was introduced in 5.00 M33-2 that made some games and homebrew not to work.
- PSN version check is now automatically bypassed without need of touching any setting.
If you enjoy the PSP, there are all kinds of accessories that you can get for it. And if you’ve purchase the new PSP 3000, there are even more things that you can get for it than what is available for versions in the past.
One of these is a great carrying case. The original PSPs used to ship with a neoprene plastic case but they no longer do. The Logitech PlayGear Pocket Slim Case is recommended.
There’s no built-in storage with the PSP either, so you’ll need some outside storage. The Memory Stick Duo – either 2GB or 4GB – is a great choice for your PSP storage needs.
Another good accessory is the combination data/power cable. The unit comes with a power cable, but it doesn’t come with a cable that allows you to sync it with your PC. Getting one means you’ll have even more fun.
You can also get headphones so you can play your PSP games at a volume you’ll love without upsetting anyone else. Playing your games on a full-sized TV can also be done with a video output cable.
Now you probably know that the PSP 3000 comes out on October 14 right. And you may be waiting patiently to get your hands on it when it releases for sale.
But there’s something going on which you may not know.
You see, if you sneak into your local Best Buys store, you may come across the PSP bundle pack like the one above. (Good stuff Ermac from NeoGaf forums)
Only thing is, is that it won’t have that cage like thing around it.
And the reason why is because the word on the street is that Best Buys have been selling the psp for the past week. Yeah. Well before the October 14 release.
Now if you are desperate to get your hands on one, you may be wondering which branch is flogging them off early. Well, there is reports that the one in Mission Valley, San Diego have them available.
But if you can wait till November, you’ll probably get a better deal with the 4 GB Bundle. That’s my opinion anyway!

Hey Guys. The site has been all over the shop lately. So I gotta apologize for not getting some good stuff out to you. (Those hosting companies are SHITE!!!)
Anyhoo.
I’ve been getting lots of new psp gamers ask me if I know of a site which have psp demos. Now, there are a few on my blog. However, if you are lazy like me, then searching for them on my site or even on the net can be a little difficult.
That’s why I did a bit of “digging”.
And you know what? I think you’re gonna love this.
You see, PSP demos is a site made by a member of our community. That’s why you know it’s good.
Anyway, it has all the demos there. From Europe, Japan and stuff. And there’s even instructions on what to do.
The only uncool thing is the banner he’s got on the site. Totally lame. You know, I’m more of an Audi fan. I guess, if you can put up with the banner, then you probably find the site interesting.
So if you want to check out some psp demos, then you want to check out PSP Demos.
eBuddy, the free web-based instant messenger, recently launched their web client for the PSP.
Their site states: “By opening the PSP browser and going to m.ebuddy.com you can chat on MSN, Yahoo!, AIM and Google Talk. No download required and it’s free to use.”
For now instant messaging with the PSP’s built-in texter will do, but don’t be surprised if we see a peripheral or perhaps an improved app down the line.
An addition that was necessary for the Playstation Portable to continue to offer its ever important practical uses. It’s good to see that third parties are developing apps for Sony’s handheld.
Sony and SanDisk recently revealed a new version of Sony’s flash media: The PRO-HG series will theoretically be able to hold capacities up to 32GB, with write speeds of up to 60MB/sec.PSP players will be happy to know that HG line is backwards compatible with the regular PRO series of cards; in other words, you’ll be able to buy an HG card and use it in your PSP. You won’t get the same speed advantage, but you will be able to use the card’s ridiculous amount of storage.
Expect it to hit shelves sometime in the next few months, at a bummer of a price no doubt.
PSP support continues to advance with Go!View, Sony’s TV On-Demand service for their portable game console. As of now, this service is only available for PSP owners in Ireland and the UK though its been reported that deals are in the works with other European countries as well.
Basic system requirements for the On-Demand service are a PC running Windows XP, Internet Explorer version 6 and Abobe Flash Player version 9 or higher. Users will also need a high-speed internet connection and at least 3 GB of disk space on their computer. As far as the PSP goes, your memory stick will need at least 1 GB of free space along with a USB cable for connectivity.
This service offers monthly subscription plans for access to television stations such as the BBC, National Geographic and Sky. Packages are available at £5 per month for one pack, £8 for two, and £10 for three packs. Packs currently include quality entertainment like Battlestar Galactica, Scrubs and Weed. There is also a decent selection of comedy with shows like Alan Partridge and Little Britain along with a few sports options as well.
Feature movies range from £2.50 to £3.50 with classics from ET and Men in Black to newer releases like Michael Clayton.
As of now, there has been no word on when or if this service will be available in North America.
