Level 5, the Japanese developers, have made a lot of exciting product announcements recently. One of these, is a quirky little game called Cardboard Senki that’s designed to be released in Japan, for PSP, in 2009, although a definite date hasn’t been set yet.
The players of this game have control of a robot called LBX. The main theme focuses on this main character and gives players a chance to outfit the robot with new gear, upgrade him, and buy new parts and models. The environments for the game are all constructed entirely out of cardboard.
There are actually very few details available for this game just yet, but there are a lot of players who are already very interested in it just from the details that have been released. The game sounds like something that would be new and different, and the one screenshot that’s been revealed, shows the interesting visuals and quirky style, making more people interested in playing the game when it’s released.
